  I have lived, worked and raised my family here in Northern Virginia for the past 23 years.  I hail orginally from the midwest, Minnesota, but thanks to the military have traveled throughout the United States and Europe.

My journey with photography began when my sons were growing up playing sports.  I soon became very adept at anticipating the next play in baseball, and catching the swim stroke at just the right moment.   Years went by and I upgraded my Nikon cameras and lenses,  and learned photo editing techniques.   I enjoy nature photography as well as natural light portraiture in addition to anything sports related.

Business wise, I specialize in children, families, and wedding/engagement photography.

I am member of PPA, Professional Photographers of America, and am a charter founder and Gold Member of the Northern Virginia Professional Photographer’s Association, the only professional and pro-path association in eastern Prince William County.  Please visit us at www.nvppa.com.
